Hello & welcome to my site, I thought I'd set this up so that I can share my experiences & pictures with others who are as fanatical about extreme weather as myself. Have been to the States now for the last 4 years 2002, 2003, 2004,2005 to chase storms in the hope of capturing some great photogenic lightening & the destructive power of a tornado. If you have a browse through the galleries you'll see just what I've managed to achieve & I hope you like what you see, hopefully the images will have improved as the years move on. Sadly the tornado phenomena is still proving to be very camera shy but with further trips & determination I'm sure I'll get one eventually.
Sadly here in the UK we suffer from a lack of extreme storms & our thunderstorms only tend to last for maybe 45 mins & that makes it very hard to get into position & the addition of rain that comes with our storms make it even harder to photograph & keep your camera's dry. This is the reason why I take the journey to Tornado Alley, the storms are long lived, lightening is intense & getting into a decent location to photograph them is a lot easier without having clusters of buildings obscuring your
